Eximo Sports Project is a blog covering the business of sport by Andi Jarvis. Covering all sports, the site focuses on how clubs and governing bodies put bums on seats, TV and sponsorship deals and what goes on behind the scenes to make the superstars we see in the media.

Career

Andi Jarvis Sports Blogger BelfastAndi is a social scientist, professional marketer, amateur sportsman and fanatical armchair sports expert. He holds an MSc in Marketing and a BSc Sport Management, to go with five seasons experience of professional sport marketing with Durham County Cricket Club. During his time as marketing manager, Andi helped launch Twenty20 cricket, hosted the first ever Test Match at the Riverside, Durham, sold out an Elton John concert and broke several attendance records.

With over 15 years experience in marketing with Durham CCC, Newcastle College and UTV, Andi now works at The Tomorrow Lab, a digital marketing agency in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he looks after clients like Expedia, Yellow Tail and Corona. Andi is also a contributor to Ireland’s most popular tech blog, Irish Tech News and regular posts about digital marketing on The Tomorrow Lab blog.

Finally, and most importantly, Andi is a dad to an amazing little girl who accompanies him (gets dragged to) sporting events around the world. As the image below shows, she was the only person on the Copacabana not remotely interested in watching Brazil in the World Cup.
